Who this is for
If you have already asked for a couple of quotes, this will sound familiar
Most of our clients are not hunting for the cheapest painter. They are looking for someone who turns up, does it properly, and tells you honestly when something changes.
The quote never arrives
You call five companies. Two answer, one comes to look, and the quote never lands. The summer goes by and the facade is still unpainted.
Fine from the street, sloppy up close
The paint is on, but edges are missed, window frames are spattered and a few sections never got the second coat. The person answering your questions never visited the site.
You end up running the project
The painter waits on the carpenter, the carpenter on the electrician, the floor sander cannot fit into the schedule. Nobody owns the whole thing except you.
What we do
What Tartu Probrigaad handles
We work on everything from new build to full renovation, for private clients and businesses. We are based in Tartu and serve the city and the surrounding area.

Houses and apartment buildings
Facade insulation
We insulate external walls including reinforcement, render and final finish. One contract makes the building warmer and gives it a proper finish.

Bring an old facade back
Facade renovation
We clean and render the facade, repair the damage and restore the surface before it reaches the structure behind.

Timber, render and panel facades
Facade painting
Painting cladding boards, rendered surfaces and timber houses with ecolabelled paints, from washing and substrate preparation through to the final coat.

Tile, sheet metal and fibre cement
Roof washing and painting
Pressure washing to remove moss and dirt, then primer and paint. The roof looks cared for and the surface is protected.

Projects large and small
Turnkey renovation
With experienced carpenters, electricians and floor sanders we take the project from start to finish. One contract, one person responsible.

Flats, houses and commercial space
Interior painting
Walls, ceilings, doors and window reveals. We cover the furniture and floors, fill and prime, then apply the number of coats the surface calls for.
What changes
What is different once we finish
Not promises – what actually changes on site.
- You know what was handed over
The end-of-job quality check is recorded. If something needs a second pass, it is flagged before you find it yourself. - The facade goes longer before it needs attention
Proper washing, substrate preparation and the right paint system mean we do not have to come back in three years. - An insulated house is cheaper to heat
Facade insulation reduces heat loss through the external walls. We calculate the effect from the condition of your building, not from a brochure. - One person responsible, not five subcontractors
The carpenter, electrician and floor sander come through us and work to our schedule. You coordinate nobody. - Indoor air quality is not what you trade away
We use Demidekk and Nordsjö Nordic Swan Ecolabel paint products. That matters most when there are children or allergy sufferers in the house.
Before and after
The same site, two states
Drag the handle, or move it with the arrow keys, to see where the work started and where it ended up.

How the work runs
Four steps from first call to handover
Site visit and quote
We come out, assess the condition of the surface and tell you honestly what needs doing and what does not. The quote is written and broken down by item, not a single number.
Schedule and materials
We agree the start, the finish and the colour. The paint system is chosen for the surface, the weather and the building, not for what happens to be in stock.
Execution
Our crew works to the agreed schedule. If something changes you hear about it the same day, not at the end of the project.
Quality check and handover
When the work is done the painter completes a quality check on their phone. We go through the result with you and close the job only once it is right.
Our quality mark
A quality mark that is not a logo on the wall
Faults found on the day
While fixing them is still straightforward.
Written record
An exact list of everything that was done.
Painter accountable
Their name is attached to this specific job.

Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
Do you only work in Tartu?
We are based in Tartu and work across the city and the surrounding area. For larger projects we travel further – just ask, and we will tell you straight whether it makes sense.
When in the year can a facade be painted?
Exterior work happens through the warm season, when temperature and humidity let the paint cure properly. The exterior season in Estonia is short, so it is worth arranging the site visit in winter or early spring.
Do you work with businesses and apartment associations?
Yes. Our clients include both private owners and companies, apartment buildings among them. On larger sites we agree the stages and how progress is reported.
What paints do you use?
We use Demidekk and Nordsjö Nordic Swan Ecolabel products. The system is chosen for the surface and the building, not for what happens to be in stock.
What is your quality mark?
It is our internal standard: the painter runs a quality check on their mobile phone as the work is completed. The job is only handed over once every section has been reviewed.
Do you also do turnkey renovation?
Yes. Alongside painting we deliver renovation projects on a turnkey basis, large and small, bringing in carpenters, electricians and floor sanders.
How quickly do you reply to an enquiry?
We reply within one working day and arrange a time to inspect the property.
